#170: the day I always dreamt of is now a day away, and it caught me by surprise how the time in between my day dreaming seemed to have flown by, just like that

Officially, tomorrow’s my last day in junior college/of IB/of an everyday ACSian life. And watching all the nostalgic reminiscences going on on Facebook and Twitter, somehow a little guilt and regret has crept up on me, my mental voice whispering how I seemed to have taken these past 12 years for granted.

12 years. In the same institution, just at different levels of education. That’s 2/3 of my life right there. I guess it’s only when something’s drawing to a close, do we realize what an adventure, what a journey it has been, and, we wish that it wouldn’t end just yet.

I’ve got a feeling tomorrow wouldn’t be so academically oriented, even though we Year 6s ought to be mugging our eyebags out for our IB exams that’s less than 3 weeks away (reality check). Or maybe it will be. Well, I don’t know, we’ll just see when tomorrow unfolds itself.

On paper, tomorrow, marks 12 years of living the ACSian life, and the end of it. But,

It was one heck of a ride.
