#36: a divide left to widen

It takes a long time to establish something good. But it doesn’t take very long for it to turn bad.

A boy was once really good friends with this friend of his. They used to be friendlier, converse about anything under the sun, speak to each other in a more light-hearted manner, mutually acknowledge each other when they are in the same location.

Now, hardly any of the above mentioned is achieved. 1 question constantly bugs the boy’s mind:

How did things become like this?

People are so susceptible to drifting apart nowadays. They may not even realize that the people they are drifting away from is actually concerned why.

The boy is tempted to drop this whole thought altogether, seeing his friend doesn’t seem to care. Should he?
